  • Rebecca Doudak

    Jordan Trip Leader

    Cairo, Egypt

Raised in NYC, Rebecca is Levantine and spends most of her time working out of Cairo running an NGO for the purpose of refugee aid.

In her free time, she loves to explore the Middle East connecting with locals and supporting small businesses along the way. She has been a content creator for over 10 years, initially making vegan food content but now also loves to highlight local craftsmanship and cultural practices in her work.

  • Nadia Mitsiou

    Greece Trip Leader

    Athens, Greece

Meet Nadia – your guide to mindful adventures and soulful connections!

Born and raised under the Greek sun, Nadia has always been drawn to the rhythm of the sea and the stillness of the mind. A sailor at heart and a yogi by soul, she finds magic in the balance between movement and meditation—whether she’s navigating the waves or guiding others through breathwork and mindfulness.

Nadia believes the best connections happen when like-minded souls come together, sharing stories, laughter, and maybe even a sunset yoga session on deck. When she’s not working, you’ll find her meditating by the shore, exploring hidden coves, or sipping herbal tea while dreaming up her next adventure.

Join her for a journey that’s equal parts serenity and exploration!

  • Federica Giorga Tanca

    Italy Trip Leader

    Sardinia, Italy

Born and raised in Sardinia, she started travelling in her twenties across Europe and north Africa, and met people from all over the world which made her fall in love with travelling. A few years later she went back to her home region and started working in tourism and event management such as the World Rally Championship. 2006 is when she became vegetarian after driving right behind a truck which was carrying a number of lambs to the slaughterhouse during Easter time. It took some years to turn vegan and start studying nutrition as well as vegan pastry so that she could share her products with everyone. Her son Gioele has also been vegan since birth and enjoys travelling with her mum and ranking food from different countries while embracing different cultures.

  • Nina Gonzalez

    Guatemala Trip Leader

    Antigua, Guatemala

Nina Gonzalez is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in beautiful Guatemala. These days, she calls the vibrant town of Antigua Guatemala her home—right in the heart of creativity, culture, and cobblestone charm.

Art has always been her way of connecting with the world, and over time, that connection has expanded beyond the canvas. She has been vegan for over five years, and that lifestyle naturally led her to explore deeper relationships with food, the planet, and myself. Solo traveling became a big part of that journey—trying local dishes (plant-based, of course!), spending hours in museums, and having picnics wherever she could lay out a blanket. It’s the little moments that feed her soul.

One of her favorite things about living in Guatemala is how easy it is to escape into nature. Whether it’s a hidden river, a tranquil lake, or the Pacific coast, there’s always a place to swim, breathe, and just be. In Mayan culture, connecting with nature is at the core of everything—and she carries that wisdom with her in all that she does.

Thanks for being here. She is so happy to share this part of the journey with you.

  • Anna mckitrick

    Founder & CEO

    New York City, USA

Anna started doing group trips in 2023 after realizing a profound need for two things: ethical travel and vegan community.

She went vegetarian at age 14 when she realized that "chicken" was, in fact, "a chicken" and went vegan 8 years later upon watching a documentary about the dairy and egg industry.

She was born in New York City and also called Freiburg, Germany, New Jersey, and Mexico City home for parts of her life.

After an acting career that included The Little Things with Denzel Washington, Colin in Black and White with Colin Kaepernick on Netflix, along with dozens of commercials, Anna went into content creation with a willingness to make more of an impact. She soon realized the need for vegan group trips. And thus, Vegan AF was born.
